I just assembled everything, but i can not get engine to start. the clutch is working correctly but the engine won't kick on. Any suggestions? pretty sure the carburetor isn't hooked up correctly to the throttle cable...

Hi,
Mine took a long time to get started first time too. To check your throttle just take the air filter off and watch for the slide opening. I was just about to run out of hill when mine finally kicked over. If it all seems right be persistent.

Make sure the throttle IS hooked up correctly. Then, turn on the gas push the "tickler button" on the left side of the carb, pull the choke about halfway, maye a little more, and pedal it.

Go to the classics section. THere's a thread there that shows how to completely disassemble the carb and reassemble it..................
