Hi brown!

Bummer about the seller problems. Been there done that. Now I only use Ebay, Amazon, and Pay Pal. These people at least answer their phones and will do an investigation on your behalf. They don't play around with bad sellers, a seller is given a choice when they are doing something dishonest. Make it right or your banned from selling forever. Hope things work out for you.

Yep the seller gets banned so that's fair..not. All some buyer has to do is make a complaint . Cuz they for some reason are unhappy with the purchase. Then just say they are not satisfied will get your money and sales frozen. So it goes both ways ..I know from a $7 sale they didn't contact me , they went right to paypal . So at the end of it she wanted $3 back and I had everything frozen. I had 600 sales a d 100% rating

Screw PayPal. I've had many issues with them since 1999. The latest issue I've had with them is they locked my account after I bought a PayPal-branded prepaid MasterCard - and they refuse to unlock it because they don't like that I decided to eliminate all my real credit cards and they claim I've changed banks too often! Now I don't do any business with PayPal or eBay. Yeah, I'm picky who I do business with and hate unnecessary fees.

Amazon - I love them. They handle prepaid cards with aplomb (I _hate_ credit cards), and they have their own prepaid cards which are easily found and transferred. I'm a Prime member, too - that free 2-day shipping more than pays for itself in a year and my roommate loves the movies and TV shows I have access to through Prime.

here are my thoughts on Paypal. It protects the buyer(ME) from giving a 60,90, or 120 day no interest payday loan on my expense!! so he can figure out how to fix his mismanaged business!! if its out of stock it should state backordered, if its in stock it should be shipped promptly 5 business days should be more then enough time.. come on people I pay interest on my card and summer is short in the Midwest, we don't all live in California

Hi MotoMagz!

Your miss understanding my post. Ebay, Amazon and Pay Pal investigate on your behalf. First part of the process is to try and get both parties to settle without opening a case. Which means they mediate communication while keeping records of both parties. This process usually takes about a month. After giving both parties a chance to work things out on their own they then give both parties a chance to open a case. If a case is opened they then mediate to again try to work things out, if that fails they then decide who is in the right. The decision made is done carefully. And it works both ways, for buyers and sellers. No seller or buyer is banned suddenly, that just doesn't happen. If they find that a seller or buyer repeatedly does something dishonest then yes they will ban you forever. Sorry you misunderstood my post, perfect example of jumping to conclusions lolol. Since you are not dealing with said organizations, try sending registered letters. That way when you get a signature return you will know for sure he got the letter. Like others said there might be a reason he hasn't answered your calls. Hope things work out though.

Hi MotoMagz!

Very funny. You sound like a couple having a lovers spat. Is there something your not telling us about you and Pay Pal? Come on let it out, i promise I won't judge you. But it will make you feel better to get it off your chest.

And maybe it's time for everyone else to move to California now.....what's everyone waiting for?

Hi scotto!

Wish I could move back to California, I lived there for a while back in 1971. Getting out of the USMC they post you where they can watch you reintegrate into the general population. Of coarse they don't tell you that but that's basically what a last duty station is. Soon to get out possibly dangerous, lolol.
Anyways I spent most of my time at the beach. I really loved California, some fond memories.

All of my transactions with Neil have been 'as agreed'. No issues.

Hoping for an agreeable resolution!

Hey Dave,

I was just being my cynical self (as usual) cuz that's just how I am. Most people don't get that, but I certainly can be at times :D

The Southern end of this state was a great place growing up......now that I'm somewhat grown up, it is really starting to suck. Simple reason why is of course over f*%#@&% population.

Yes I have very fond memories of this state growing up here, most people on the planet have no idea.....and taxes will take it's toll as it all slides down the drain.....come on down?

Oh it's not really that bad, is it? ;)

Cheers man!

A side note.....Neil would not rip anyone off knowingly.....just relax people.

The seller is obviously avoiding the situation and is now avoiding the forum because of the situation. If the customer met the seller in the forum, the seller should be banned from the forum.

Thing's have changed in Cali. No! you don't want to move back to Cali I have lived here since Birth and with an exception of 3 Yrs. in Indiana and 1 Yr. in Kentucky and I am really wanting to leave, but getting back to the Matter at hand I received my engine from Neil today and it is everything he said it would be very well ported just needs a little clean up on the flashing and fins and I mean Little! the engine spins Nice and Free magneto is the best I've seen yet.

No matter what the problem I do believe Neil will keep his word as he has with me and others.

I will post pic's soon

??? Really? And you know this because you've dealt with the seller?

The seller has been banned several times from this site , but never from ripping anyone off!

Comprende?

EDIT: I'm sure the seller is on the forum right now reading your unnecessary lame post, the only time he avoids anything on this forum is when it comes to posting race results.....and that's usually due to poor scoring which can be understandable if you attend the races he promotes.

We are not a customer service department nor the better business bureau, we do not inherently recommend our sponsors or those that choose to advertise here otherwise, nor do we condemn those with apparent questionable business activities, member or merchant. We as forum staff cannot act on, let alone ascertain or establish the validity of marketing claims or customer complaints, we'd be so overwhelmed with conflicting reports from both sides our only recourse would be personal experience - of which is limited and subject to our preference & thus bias, which we do our best not to act on in deference to our rules: http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=2

What we do is provide a place for you - member and merchant alike to provide your experiences for the benefit of all. As your cumulative experience far outweighs our own, we actually often base our personal purchases on your feedback rather then the other way around.

I truly believe this is the only recourse fair to all our membership.

Should our forum's rules be broken we take action - should that action be ignored, that's when & only when bans happen. I would suggest that rule 1 is considered most carefully of all.
