Friction drive: Clutch or No Clutch

So I'm planing on my first build. The motor is a Toro TC 3000(Don't know the CC if u know can you inform me) that i found at the local dump. So i would like to use the clutch with friction drive set-up. But, I'm worried it is worn to much, i don't want it to slip when i get up to speed. I'll post a link of a picture of the clutch so you can tell me what you think about the clutch. If its too worn ill just take it off and will do with out the clutch.
