With these 2 piece adaptors. I have not found any that once tightened down that each piece meets each other perfectly flat and still tight on the hub. Ones I have seen will tighten down good and hold and do the job but the adaptor pieces never meet perfectly flush. Has this been everyone else's experience? I talking about the something like the BBR tuning sprocket where you have the 2pieces that fit over the hub and then 3 bolts hold the sprocket to these.Thank you

if they did go flat there would be no clamping force on the hub. i have both manic mechanic and their copies and all end up with a gap and never slip. i even bought one too small so a local machine shop could size it to my strange hub and the finished product had the so called gap. it has worked perfectly for me for several miles now. be sure to blue locktite the fasteners. if stuff came loose you would have a real mess back there !!
