Finally got around to ordering a Staton friction kit to make use of a 0 hours Lehr engine I've had laying around here. It's all together now and it's been ran about 5 minutes total time. My concern is with no load the oil pan gets way too hot to touch in a matter of minutes. Had a Subaru/Robin EH025 for a short time a few years back and don't recall it ever running this hot. Pulled the pan off today and it appears to be circulating oil as designed. Before I take it for a road test guess I'm looking for someone that has one of these small 4 strokes to chime in about their temperatures....if it's gonna seize up on me I'd find it less embarrassing to happen in the garage/shop than 5 miles from home
