I laid off for a while, as I was building a (non motorized) bike for my son in law's birthday.

So, today I finished this one. 48v system/1,000 watt hub... 2 x 20ah LiPos in the lower box on the front rack, controller in the upper box.

Very cool. Love the copper colored chain guard and wood boxes. Sorry you got laid off. I've been laid off 3 or 4 times since 2000. Each situation was a little different. Hang in there.

Thanks. I should have said, "I laid off building this a while ago." I'm retired. No money but no job. And, I'm good with that. At least, gettin' used to it.

Your well thought out build is really fantastic. I really like these very creative stealth builds like this, with hidden batteries, controllers and wires that some of you geniuses are pulling off.

People are going to wonder how you are casually pedaling at 30 mph and that big grin on your face will confuse them even more. To much fun!
