Awesome, either motor will be a good Midrange class racer.

If we can get a good scoring crew and the co-operation of the
racers the Midrange class will have a 2nd sets of trophies for the
smaller motored and slower bikes.

Your Honda GC190 would be in the higher class and your 5hp Briggs
the lower class..
That's a couple of big ifs, for the two separate groups scored within the midrange class. I usually try very hard to not be a prima donna, but my engine choice is going to hinge on two sets of trophies, or one.

If there were two groups, I would work on the briggs and try and get it track ready. If only one set of trophies, definitely keep the Honda set up I currently have. The honda is more reliable, no sticking valves or overheating issues, but I just can't keep up with magrider or nashmoto with the honda, even though my engine has 30 more cc's than his.

Trying not to put too much emphasis on a trophy win, but it would be nice one time, probably have a better shot in a slow engine group.

Can you please explain what "the co-operation of the racers" would entail? I can understand the necessity of a scoring crew.

Thanks Neil,

Gilbert

My next to youngest Son just called and said he's coming up to check out the race.....he's studying to become an engineer. I think the builds he see's will give him a little food for thought, he's a smart kid.

See you all there!

Awesome, I only met your youngest son and your parents. :D

Is Jenn making this one?

Just give him a ride on your monsta bike on the track and he will be hooked!

See you on Friday 30th after 5pm for some Grange track fun.

I'll be there with Dean and he said he'll race the mid class. Hopefully my base gasket will be here on time so I can rebuild and race the mid class too.

I'm hoping my youngest son can come up with his brother, as well it would be really cool if my dad could make it up for this event. He'll be 81 the day before the race!

Jen won't be able to make this one as her mom is flying in from Texas and they are doing a 3-day seminar together.

This is what I'm bringing to the track...

I predict a lot of fun and some very cool rides as always!

I'll be rolling in Friday afternoon with the mid-class bike and a new 2-stroke build. Glad to see the usual suspects are going! Who's showing up Friday?

And Neil, it's much appreciated that you put these races together!

I was planning on camping like last time but Dean doesn't believe in roughing it a bit so we'll be staying in a motel however we'll be prepping by dehydrating & drinking lots of Mai Tais or long islands the night before the race. lol

How about evening margaritas at the track?! Equal parts dehydrating and fortifying.

There may be a July and Sept 2014 night race if enough people
pre register and pre pay.

The last race of this year is on Sat Oct 18th at Grange Motor Circuit.

The first 2015 S.M.B.R. race is either on April 4th or 11th.

Second 2015 race is Sat May 30th and the last big race in
2015 is on Sat Oct 17th.

Don't know - figured it would be raced in the same class as the "pro" china girl version - same as Andy and Bill's KTM powered bikes. The engine is completely stock. Need to track down alternate jetting before Thursday.

Will also be bringing the Honda GC160 as usual.

Looks good Brian.
Is this your new Mid Class Racer?

You can race it in the Pro china class? If so, I'm in too!
There has not been a Pro China girl class for a few races now and I
doubt if there will be one in 4 days at Grange.

Not enough racers have emailed to register for me to be able to accurately
schedule yet alone change classes.

PS: Pre registration by email ends on Wednesday 28th at midnight.
