You won't like the way it steers nor the wear on the rear tires. A differential would be a better bet than a live rear axle connecting both rear wheels. I tried it on my trike to get away from the torque steer it had and it made things worse. When you corner the rear tires will scrub due to the different speed they need to make a curve. One faster, one slower.
