When building the Land Rider Jerry freewheel use sprockets with small cut outs. Don't use ones like the black sprocket with large cut outs.

They can bend and even break.

You'll need a Sun Race 34 sprocket off an 8 speed 13-34 freewheel. You'll have to put a notch in the wide spline and file one ramp down.

You can also use large spline Falcon sprockets but will have to file down the same ramp.

The 8 speed Sun Race core has three spline sizes. You can use the middle spline size but it will have to be notched in the wide spline. Falcon small size splines fit as is, nothing needs to be done to them.

LR Jerry 5 Speed Freewheel Part II

The setup.

Shimano HG-37 core (7 speed 14-28 freewheel).

This is the 14 sprocket with the teeth ground off. Two of them will be needed.

LR jerry 5 speed Freewheel Part III

Start putting sprockets and spacers on. Sun Race 34 sprocket.

Shimano 28 Sprocket.

This 24 Falcon sprocket had a smaller cut out than the Shimano so I used it.

The 20 Falcon sprocket was solid is why I chose to use it.

Finish it off with the Shimano 16 sprocket and install the two 14 sprockets with the ground down teeth. Then tighten down the lock ring.

For even more details and pictures go to LR Jerry's profile and view album on 5 speed freewheel.
