ok so I dont think its the chain making the noise. It does it at idle too I removed the head cyclinder to check if there was anything in there and the wasnt. Had a hard time putting the head back on and broke a piston ring doing so :( Luckily I had another motor for parts and took a ring from there. Anywways got it back together. So what is this noise at idle?

I think it may actually be an air leak. Since air leaks cause high idles too. Correct? I need some o-rings, and probably a new inline fuel filter and fuel line. And I accidently put the head on backwards but this shouldnt be a problem should it? does anyone know if aco hardware carrys o rings and fuel line?

Take the carb off and take it with to a auto parts store like O'Reilly's or Advanced auto, Napa they all have fuel resistant o rings just match one up with carb. I know O'Reilly's has clear fuel line that is fuel resistant. I bought mine there.
