Anyone experience this?

I got a grubee skyhawk.

When I first got it. I would pedal my bike about a 100ft and the engine would start up very
easily. It was a very effortless start up.

Lately now, I noticed I really really have to pedal very fast/hard for almost half a block to get
the engine started. If I dont, the engine would sputter a bit and die off.

Is this a sign of a big problem? Any ideas?

Hard starts are pretty hard to diagnose remotely - but have you checked the plug? It's color? How does it run when it does start? Have you changed anything like yer fuel air settings or it's oil/fuel ratio?

*shrug* it could be as simple as needin' a lil choke/prime to start ;)

spark plug and fuel/oil ratio is fine. When the engine does start up, everything is good. I can
accelerate to 28 mph with no problems.

Its the initial pedal to start engine is the slight problem. I'm almost out of breath trying to
pedal as fast as I can to get it started.

How much gap on the plug do you all use?

Thanks everyone.
