I run a 45 tooth, it seems to be for all around riding, it cruises easily at 40 mph and still has enough umph to get you easily off the line. If you want a quicker bike with less top speed, then go bigger.

I run an S6S, 9.4hp.

The boxer uses the Morini 9.4 horse and it uses a 64 tooth and top speed tops out around 50 MPH at least that is what I seem to remember I think :p
