Go to a welding supply or shop that tig welds stainless steel and buy few 1/16" x 36" stainless tig rods, clamp one end to metal table the other to ground clamp the farther down the rod gives less power farther up more power you get.
Be sure to keep away all cords air hose and your self it gets hot.

That's an excellent idea that no doubt works well.

Whenever I use an automotive battery charger to electrolytically remove rust I use 10 feet of steel rebar wire, connected in series, to act as a high power resistor. It puts a 1 amp load on the charger to prevent the internal circuit breaker from tripping.
