Rather just fix it anyway!

This guy understands redneck engineering even if he is in russia!
Wooden wheel with cable actuated pliers disc brake!
Top THAT!
He probably has to wet the rim periodically to tighten up the joints...wood drys and shrinks over time and the wheel will get loose. My grandpa taught me that trick for his wooden wagon wheels.
