I'm thinking of picking up a bike off craigslist and was wondering if this style of bike can support an engine.

Also, Where do I look for engines?

ETA:It's a 20 in frame.

yep,
ebay is where there at. there on craiglist.org also but those on craigslist are expensive, because they are usually already on a bike.

yeah I've used a GT Tequesta, and a Skykomish. I have 5200 miles on my GT (the 43' Messinger), and the Skykomish was a good instal too. the bigger front UBolt setup was used to mount the front of the motor (Bigger tube). That one in the picture is a fast and reliable build. only thing you'll probably be mounting the sprocket directly to the spokes but like I said 5200 miles and 4200 miles before I put a new rear wheel on it(39 dollars). I ride it like a mmotorcycle off road. THis one also has enough power to start with only the clutch even on hills . The spoke problems come from the chain tensioner on your build without drilling a hole through it ..if needed.
