Here is the new Tioga Psycho2 that I studded with the Maxigrip HM11 studs. Maxigrip are also the " i-Grip" The studs went right through the tire and stuck out 1/4 " so I cut and prepped some heavy duty belt rubber that I got from " Rubber Cal. " , and got em on the inside. I did not want to cut them off on the inside, or grind them down too much, cause I wanted strength in the length. Also, if I ground them all the way down, and just used a tire tube on the inside, and they came out, , then Im out $ 230.oo.
The studs are carbide tipped and very expensive, and I will see how this works very soon. Ha ! , I ordered them on Monday, and they arrived on Thursday, from the other side of the Country. I put the studs in with rubber cement.
The tires I got from Niagra Cycle.
