hey guys i just hooked up an hour meter/tacho andi was wondering if anyone knew what rpms to set for idle.

I set mine at 2200. Any less than that and it will idle for a while but then quit. That's on a skyhawk gt5

Cheers mate ,ive set mine at 1600 rpm it seems to be okay there on idle.

Set it just high enough that it doesn't die when idleing with the clutch disengaged. RPMs are not important.

i'm thinking those tacks are for 4 strokes because they seem to be about twice the rpm's i would think at idle. just a guess tho.
