  • Hi Robert.
I havn't been on MB for a few months so Im very sorry I missed your message. Im sure you figured something out by now, but since I feel bad ill tell you how i did it anyway. The steering tube is huge and i got scared when I first found out the monark fork wouldnt just fit in. However if you take the bearing cups that should come with the monark fork and you place it on top of the big ones that come with the frame I noticed the smaller monark cup barely doesnt fit into the gt2 cup, so I busted out the dremel and ground out maybe 1/16 from the inside of the fork tube hole of the bigger gt2 cup. The narrower mornark cup will fit like a glove and essential work as an adapter. I hope this might help for a future build unless you figured out the same thing.
    Cheers.

Hello, I was wondering if you could assist me. I am in the middle of a skyhawk frame build, and I'm wanting to use a monark fork like you did on the coors bike. What did you do for the bearing cups in that huge steering tube? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, robert
