gasbikes on ebay and we will see how it goes, but I am one who will document
everything including video taping me opening it up and seeing
what's there and the shape it will be in, Recording phone conversations
etc. I hope all goes well,
how ever not happy with the start,
Bought it 6-3-13 10:30 am under their fast and free policy
no tracking number yet.
Where I live they have communal mail boxes all in a row so that is important!

Sure would hate to go thru what I went thru with spookytooth aka bikeberry,
but then I ended up with the kit and my money back!
My credit card loves to dispute fraud:)

So wish me luck and cross your fingers for me!
and I'll keep you up to date
Ron Rzpt

Oh and remember their return policy

allows returns on products that are in new condition and are returned in the original packaging. "New condition" means that the product has not been installed, fueled, started or ridden.

now you buy a kit with a six month warranty how can you know if it works or not
or find manufactures defects unless you've fueled it and started it?
those rules work against them if your smart!!!

Update
took 2 emails to get a tracking number from them and they claimed it's
been posted all along, nope.
I bought a skyhawk kit and an extra muffler both supposed to be delivered
tomorrow. NOPE!
but the tracking number for the kit does show up delivery sat. or mon.
tracking number for muffler no good.
called and recorded fedex saying only 1 package sent. Document everything!!!
sent a 3rd email politely asking why no muffler sent yet when they said
it will be delivered tomorrow.
waiting for response
ALWAYS BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS
Mom always said you catch more flies with honey
than vinegar, and I always asked mom why do you want flies?

Reply 11:00 am as follows
Dear ron r,

I think both we're shipped together.

Sincerely,
Nader Bixxx
Mobile: 310-xxx-xxxx

then why give me 2 tracking numbers
and if they did then they are opening boxes
and packing them themselves, I don't think it was sent
and will have to deal with it when package comes monday or so

on a side note I found some unusual customer service!
bought A petcock for another build using a whizzer tank.
bought it monday and the man called me at home today (THURSDAY)
and apologized for not being able to fulfill my order, he said he would
immediately give me a full refund and the next ones he gets off the slow boat
he will send me one for free, and yes I mentioned that he sold it to me without
having the stock on hand and no I wasn't happy about that, but his honesty
and integrity has earned him a future customer, AND I MEANT IT!!!

The point being he came to me and said I scr** up and I'm sorry
Standing tall counts for something in my book! and over a petcock no less
THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!! Sad thing is looking at his page he pulled all items
maybe he's going out of business, I hope not.

My very first kit was a Skyhawk from GasBike; no complains at all, but I advise interested parties to go to eBay and get a different and cheaper kit. The Skyhawk has a proprietary piston configuration, so replacement parts can be a pain, and I'm not a big fan of the CNS3. Spend $140 on an X80 setup.

If you do a search using google they used to have a real bad rap
but I haven't heard anything lately, but experience with vendors has
taught me, they're all like a box of cracker jacks, you never know what you'll
find inside.:)

I'm not much on fixing up, do it right the first time drive it till it dies
and I have heard bad things about the cns but I can always throw an nt on
there $10.99

I bought a metal throttle assembly from Gas bike and they shipped me a crappy plastic kit throttle assemble after about a week of back and forth bickering they finally sent the part they advertised, I found that if I deal with them again I'll call first and place the order over the phone, as far as a crab the Dellorto 15.15mm is fantastic and the RT carb from Dax is better only because of the metal slide and metal fuel inlet tube and the RT is half the price of the Dellorto.

I don't place an order with a vendor without calling it in except for ebay
and because of their buyer protection I will give them the benefit of doubt
if I've never used them, but just once!

Yeah, I have no beef with GasBike. But Grubee includes that damned CNS...THERE'S the beef! You're spot-on with an NT.

My CNS3 has done alright for me.....so far! The only thing that is adjustable is the idle speed. This motor always starts in the first few feet of releasing the clutch. Hopefully you'll have as good of luck with yours!!

Xseler: you CAN grind off the brass-cap hiding the mixture-screw on the CNS3. If it's running well for you, I'm jealous: that mix-screw beats re-jetting on the NT.

Update

just received kit, looks good so far everything was properly and tightly packed.
and what they did was take the brand new china girl box unopened and put it inside a
slightly larger box unlike another nameless company in which I received a priority box with parts loosely dropped in.
but they did not send extra muffler I ordered so I had to send a 4th email asking for that to be shipped.

What did surprise me was the plugs sent with kit, 3 prong, always wanted to
try one. and they included an extra spark plug boot
we'll see how it goes, happy so far, now I get to play:)

Same here, once I adjusted the float and pulled the bowl vent it was running like a bat out of hel1. Well, until the carb mount cracked..

Dude, where is that? That little brass plug on the carb body?

I have dealt with gasbike on multiple occasions. My only problem with them is that they send stuff via certified mail and require a signature. So if I'm not home for whatever reason, I have to drive down to the post office to pick it up. Bother some, but whatever.

The 3 prong spark plug is a turd. Trust me. Ditch it. lol

Update
a few nice surprises on engine first head studs 10 mm or 5/16 whichever
not rinky dink small studs.

Engraved serial number on clutch plate.

Manually held in clutch arm and could spin sprocket by hand.

carb stack offset up and to the side.

will have to remove oval plate saying it's a 66 and replace with one says
48,;) no prob. have an engraving machine.

as far as parts to replace I did indeed order 2 new iridium spark plugs
and good upgraded #41 chain, and an NT carb just in case.

I save the stock chain for the low stress pedal side, I'm not sure why
but when I do this, on most builds I can get rid of tensioner. Don't ask
me why it works, it does? on most builds I've made.:)
MAN HAVE I LEARNED A LOT FROM THIS SITE
thank you guys and gals!!!:)

P.S. just received right tracking number for muffler will be in monday
All in All Thumbs up gasbike

That's the same engine that I have. Started very easily first time, and every time since.

Mine was made 10-15-2012.
