DAMN IT! Now I cant decide...
Haha, it looks better in person. These tires change it a lot, no denying that.

This picture doesn't do it justice. The look is shorter, with the illusion of being longer. I like shorter, and longer. In this pic it looks like the tires might be too little, but in person they look plenty beefy, and low profile. They fit these wide rims really well. They have a kind of high performance look in comparison to the fatty stock tires. They look better on the rims than the stock tires.

I can live with this look.
One thing I really like about the Felt's is how much space there is between the seat post, and the tire. I hate it when the tire is crowded up against the seat post tube. The low profile tire amplifies that look.

Well I haven't made much progress in the last couple days. I did add a couple coats of wax though lol. I discovered there's some items I'll be needing that I don't have, so rather than get started and not be able to finish, I decided to wait till more stuff gets here before getting started.

So today I pedaled around the hood a little to see how it looks and rides with the new tires, and it's great. This red beauty really gets peoples attention. Kids on two different streets made a point of giving me a thumbs up and said, "nice bike" as I rode by.

I'm conducting a test on my new sealed gas tank. I need to know it doesn't leak, and also I've been curious to know how much it holds.

I used a measuring cup to fill it with water all the way to the top thread of the bung. It holds a little over a 4 pints, or slightly more than 1/2 gallon.

That's roughly the same amount as the stock kit tanks, what a coinkydink.

That is a good looking bike. The stance is better than that crowded rear wheel deal. The pedal crank is not burred under the seat post ether.

I'm going to wait about 1 hour and see if the level has dropped any.

The gas bike frames come to mind when you say that. I like those frames, but that's what I noticed about them. What a pitty too, because if they just added a couple inches back there, they'd be great.
