I was talking to Dave Rust and got some exciting news that
he is grading a small banked velodrome at his new place and
he would like to run some motorized bike events there.

Just need to raise some funds to get it paved with that black
sticky asphalt stuff. :D

Cool, I'm going to make it a priority to get the x-games bike running and stuff it in the back seat and drive down in April!

Thanks for being thick skinned and putting these on Neil, I can't wait to join in on the fun.

I'm not promising anything.

"If" I was going to attend as a "hobbyist" with little racers passion (but a mild curiosity) it would be at the end of the year in October. That way I'll have the whole summer to enjoy the bike and if it gets damaged on the track it won't bother me as much.

Once you get the bike scratched up and worked in with a few thousand miles you aren't as worried about it.
.
Ya gotta be kidding! laff

Yeah Scotto, Something just doesn't add up.
You're suppose to build a fresh race bike to race it on the track instead of wearing it down for a few thousand miles.
Let's face the facts, you're scared to race me.
Just imagine you, Mr Athlete, loses to an out of shape guy with bad knees.
There goes your theory and "It's back to the drawing board with new graphs"

Isn't this thread about racing events ?Why is some poser talking about imaginary bikes and the guys that do race are even replying to his nonsense? Lets talk about racing. We just got a package from Dave Rust that has our Frankin Crank in it, Dan is coming over tomorrow and were gonna see what Mr. Rust has done. anyway I just can't stop thinking about the thrill of screaming through the turns trying to pass that sob in front of me. I can't wait Later Bob

Yeah! Let's talk about racing.
I need to step it up and really focus. Actually do some research and tune my bike(s). I don't want to be the last guy all the time...be nice to be in the mid range class too (fun class). I went to the last race but did not participate, so I'm itchin' to ride. Happy holidays and tune-up!

How firm are the 2013 Grange dates?

Viva las Vegas is March 28th-31st 2013, so it looks like I will be needing two weekends off in a row...

Sorry for the slow reply, I just noticed your question.

The 2013 race dates are firm and will not be changed unless we get
rained out which is highly unlikely.
