You are right on all counts.

You don,t see ANY gas powered bicycles here, And I mean NONE

For all of the reasons we tried to point to you !

So with that I am NOT going to get into LSMs like I did with E-bikes to only PROVE Rock WRONG!!!

Ride on buddy.

Put your gas motor on there and have a blast UNTIL that day comes,

AND IT WILL then you,ll know we TOLD YOU SO!!!

I am not from WA nor have I lived there I am from Key West,FL and the name Chris Craft comes from my old boat and 112 was the size of my engine<---Hence where my name comes from but thats another topic.I was raised in Mission,BC until i was 8 then moved to Key west for 10 years until just recently my family decided to move back here so they could get their pentions and I could get my career inline.I had this bike back in FL and came up here wondering about the laws a bit more because of these things being such a great alternative to driving a car, which is why I started this thread. And from what ive been reading it seems like Rock and orge are making sense like I said earlier.I do appreciate all the Input all of you all have put in I guess when im provin guilty in the court of law I will make another thread just to let you say I told you so keith.

Robin in Penticton B.C. was stopped by the R.C.M.P. and told that gas motors where illegal on the roads in B.C. and could only be ridden on private property.

I suppose you feel they were wrong Mr Rockenstein/Chriscraft? Keep up the nonsense though.

You guys may have mentioned it, but the reason they are illegal is likely the same reason as here in OZ, and its a pollution issue, and thats why electric is legal and ICE's arent, right or wrong it aint gonna change

That's it exactly Harry. Here in B.C. the former provincial Premier made up his mind that B.C. would be the leader of Canada as the greenest province. We now pay top dollar for petrol as well as the carbon credit scam.

I must admit i never look at the prices these days, but i think we are paying above $1.50 a litre, and we are about to start a very controvertial "carbon tax" so we will now be paying way more for electricty and just about everything else :-(

They probably would ban everything if they could but one issue at a time, motorized bikes obviously get complaints from citizens so a decision was made. I was told by a police officer (in Australia) that this was the reason.

These motors although they chew small amounts of fuel are very polluting, same as mowers etc but how often do you run your mower? Its also a matter of noise pollution.
