Damn, I'm Beat. Can I get someone to delete his post? :p LOL
Well weekend fun, good for you. But, I've been around engines all my life. I used to fall asleep on my dad's shoulder as a baby when he mowed with his rider. LOL I am naturally mechanically inclined and I love it. This kind of stuff is so much fun. Weekend fun, I bet its fun for you too? The younger the better. Until you get under 13 but your an execption. :D
BTW, Your avatar is creepy. Is it a bloody kitten? :)

It's not that creepy. LOL
And I bet I could build a bike blindfolded but it would most likely fall off the bike the first time I would ride it. I don't know if it would be better than yours but if I really took my time (rolls eyes) and built it right it would last a long time. :D I'm about to check out your site I already subscribed to you on youtube. :) Good Luck with future builds.

Question: Does this poll show that most of the people here are between 40 and 60 or does it show that people between 40 and 60 are more likely to promptly fill out their census, because they like polls?

I had the idea most of us here are older ( another forum lists age much of the time),
I stand by that thought.
When you are young, you think there must be a lot of differences between age groups. Later, you find out how similar we are.

When I was in my teens I wondered why it was old guys who had hot rods and cool boats. It eventually dawned on me that older guys are the ones who had the money and time to play with stuff. Anyone with money can buy fancy cars and RVs but the stuff that takes some time to do and the tools to do it takes someone with the time and interest to do. Granted MBs aren't difficult or particularly expensive but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and tinker with them to be successful. I'd like to see a lot more younger folks involved. We need more jack of all trades in this country and tinkering with mechanical stuff is the way to get them started.

I'm 38. "Middle of the road" for around here I guess.

Weekend-fun, good for you! I got my first Briggs and Stratton powered mini bike when I was 10. By the time I was 11 I had completely torn it down, re-painted it,and re-worked the engine to gain another 2 horsepower.
Getting an early start on mechanical marvels can help you greatly as you grow older, and make you alot of $$$ if you can work repairing jobs into your schedule.
A high school friend of mine bought his first Harley in 11th grade with the $$$ he saved up by repairing lawn mowers, dirt bikes, and even a few motor homes.
If only I had done that too.........

Ole buzzard here, General Dwight David Eisenhour "IKE" was president in the 50s before Kennedy. The only president since George Washington with a military background. The Korean War was over, the G.I.s were home, black and white TVs were in every third house. A little later, Ford Crown Victoria's and Chevy BelAirs with a continental kit were the cars to have. I had my first Wizzard Motor Bike. HOG HEAVEN! Jack Kennedy was standing in the wings to become President.
