Ever notice that if you spill syrup on the kitchen counter you get ants. But if you spill sugarless syrup nothing will touch it. They just know it ain't real food. We pay more for it and eat that stuff, yet we think we are the higher life form. Gotta make ya think.

Another odd thing I learned today..... When you bake welding rods, they do NOT smell like chocolate chip cookies. It smells like the house is on fire.

The rods did burn a little better... I thought norm said 400 for two hours. After one hour I couldn't stand the smell any more.

Yeah you just need to warm them up to get rid of the moisture.
I have found fried chicken to be a great after the shop hand cleaner. Better than Boraxo!

Well a new odd thing.

Most of you know i build small bikes because my balance is too bad to swing over a tall bike. I made an exception and worked on a 26 inch mountain bike. So yeah it threw me on the ground but then the son of a dog jumped on top of me. Good thing no one seemed to notice. I'm sure it was a site to see.

The odd part was that I knew I was falling so I just gave in to it. Nothing happened to me but a scrap on my ankle. I fall a lot so I have learned how to do it. Watching the bike jump on me was a truly odd sight.

Re: Perfect fruit

Has anyone noticed that it's only the banana that you can eat without touching the flesh, and without using any implements to peel off the skin? so what you eat can actually be sterile, free from any germs... is there any other fruit that can match this? It seems to be the most perfect fruit... :)

Electrodes should be kept in a warm Dry place anyway. Especially the E-7018 because it has a low hydrogen coating . But baking rods in an oven is something totaly unheard of to me . That is not nessesary, but if it works, sure why not? As amatter of fact, the welding shops that I've been in, did not even care where they kept their 7018.:):)
