This is my first 80cc BGF kit. I am asking if you can use the clutch to pull away from a stop after the motor is running or should you always use the peddels to get the bike rolling and save wear on the clutch?? I weigh 200lbs.

It's not a motorcycle. Yes, you need to pedal up to speed. Help that little engine a bit. You clutch will love you for it. :)

If you want to pull away from a stop without pedaling, you need to install a centrifugal clutch kit.
