Hi all I guess this is the best place for me to post this. I'm building a custom motorized bike called the blue lotus. It's a combination of a cruiser, a mountain bike, and parts from various vintage and motorized bicycles. Here is the engine. It's the first part I've finished. Everything in it has been more or less upgraded and blueprinted. Ask me questions if you like.

Hey LS614,

I used to live in Bridgeport, but am now on Long Island, just outside Port Jefferson. I've spent a lot of time ping-ponging between the two on the ferry (they don't charge me extra for the bike!). Never got to NH on it, but did a lot of commuting between B'port and Derby.

Hi all, it's been a few months and a lot of things have been happening but I have a few pictures to share for you. Nothing like the miserable cold of New England to get you motivated on winter building! Lol. Here is the engine, your basic 66cc HT but a bunch of pimped out items, way better hardware, mild porting, and Japanese bearings (Nachi brand) Also here is a pic of my new designated bike workbench that I carved out some room for in the basement! I hope everyone is having a good winter so far. I'd love to see you all at a rally or two this spring/summer!

2 years later and I finally picked up this build again! Today I stripped the frame with a chemical stripper and am preparing to weld on my hand crafted metal bits. Pics to come soon! PSA DO NOT get paint stripper in your eyes, it really hurts
