    i use Mobile 1 full synthetic only in everything , but anything will work , if you look in the user manual , 10 w 30 is for cooler weather , and 10w 40 /10w 50 is for hotter weather , use a good synthetic oil , i wouldnt use dollar store oil ...xct2

    I use 30 weight oil in my Robin Subaru EH035
    I have over 3000 miles on it.

    I read the manual and talked to several oil experts.
    Manual says;
    30 weight is good for 50' to over 90' which is higher than 10W-30

    These small 4 stroke motors that have no oil filtration work best on
    single weight oils in warm climates like CA.

    You would only need a multi weight oil if you are running it in extreme
    cold to hot conditions. I don't ride in those conditions LOL

    I have just converted my two 4 stroke motors to Opti-4 30 weight.
    2nd motor is a Honda GXH 50 that had maybe 1000 miles on it.
    Only put very few miles on the R/S since changing to Opti-4
    so i can't comment yet.

    My 50 cc Huasheng 4 stroke will be getting Opti-4 from mile one
    and will be broken in to Opti's recommendations.

    Are you riding at Willow Springs on Sat June 18th?

    I am giving out twelve 20 oz bottles of Opti-4 SAE 30 weight oil
    and a bunch of Opti-2.

    Hi everyone. I bought some Briggs and Stratton small engine oil from Walmart, it says specially formulated for 4-cycle air-cooled engines, SAE 30, use between 40 and 100 degrees F+. I haven't used it yet. I imagine it's good. Now I have mobile synthetic 10w-30 in a robin subaru EHO-35 friction drive last used in 2009. That runs good.
