Hello. I've been lurking this great site for a couple months now and decided to break the ice and come aboard. I bought a 66cc China Girl from (banned) back in February to attach to my '97 Diamondback Voyager II. Everything was fine, riding around wearing a skater helmet without any untoward interest from Johnnie Law, then I happened upon bairdco's very informative Cali law thread.
So I got my bike and myself all legalized toot sweet.
I've also learned a lot about these li'l buzzers here and wish I'd stumbled upon the site BEFORE I installed my engine! No prob, did some upgrades.
Will post some pics when I find the time.
Anyway, thanks and I'm stoked to now be part of this!

Glad you're here. Good attitude about keeping it legal. Nothing in life is worse than losing something you've poured your love into.
