Corvid Cycles (out of East Guadalatucky)
Model 19

When I was a kid I used to stay with my aunt and uncle in upstate Indiana, one day in the massive barn/garage I found a wooden crate with one of these,

in it, I asked my uncle if I could have it and he gave it to me, I dugout an ancient step through frame and put it on it, did a bit of work and used to cruise all over town on that od green bike, when I came home at the end of summer mom didn’t want me to bring it because she said we didn’t have space to put it in the car and she said it stunk of gas, so I put it back in it’s crate, sealed it marked it with my name and hid it in the barn where I was told to hide it. I found out one of my cousins stole it two weeks later and sold it for scrap.

Haha! Damned nice bike, and the model designation is right on.

As a side- similar tragic story; I loaned my nephew an early 80's Fender Stratocaster because he wanted to learn how to play....A few weeks later, he sold it to finance his entry into drug dealing.

That went real well- he got busted right away and went to jail, them his mommy put him in rehab as a deal to shorten his stay at the gray bar motel.

Do you think she or he even offered to pay me for the guitar (1300 value)? His mamma did- she gave me a 35 dollar trumpet, ( I looked up the serial number) and tried to tell me it was a very old family heirloom worth a lot of money....lol!

Loop I do like your Corvid creation well spent time and dollars that turned out really nice!

You chose to do something positive rather than worry about things that you don't have control over. Is Carona beer still available in the US? If not a good cold U.S. "This Bud's for you" .... the beverage, not the Navy's training course

I’m planning in upping the rear sprocket to a 44 tooth in I got but I suspect I’ll need to put a rear chain tensioner in it, I’d prefer that curved one I’ve seen in here though I’m very suspicious of the stock one.

Loop is that a 48cc ? If so the 44 tooth will probably give better results, on my bike with 26" tires the 44 tooth is best overall, I actually lost top speed when I dropped to a 41. The smaller engines need to run at a higher rpm to develop power.

I think it is, said 80cc on the box and booklet but I’ve been around motors long enough to know better lol. I personally believe they are all 50cc range.

Mine is dated 2018 and has a icon of a Pegasus on the right side of the block just below the cylinder fins.
I really wish there was some sort of database to find out more about the make or model of these engines.

cool, I know it’s a one piece head and jug, the ad showed what looked like a two piece lol. I’m curious though I’d read of people complaining about overheating, why had no one made a water cooled head using a computer radiator and pump?
