Is there a company that sells a chain tensioner that doesn't look like a piece of plate steel with a matchbox wheel attached to it?:-||

It's even better if you get rid of the tensioner all together!
Just get both chains the same tension by changing the sprockets on the pedaling side.

We have the high end Ridley tensioner as a option but if its just the looks you dislike you can always round off the edges with a bench grinder. At least it won't look like a piece from a erector set. It really is the only square cornered thing on your bike. A true eye soar...

    Just a suggestion

Wow, that Jenson one is really nice for the price! I'm sure it would work just fine on the engines that use the smaller chain like the GT5's. I'm getting one...

profile racing has these chain tensioners, lose the one on the frame that rides on the chain if you can and get these....http://www.profileracing.com/estore2/index.php?productid=194, in my case i had to run a half link for both the bike chain and the motor chain, but when the wheel is pulled tight, both chains are tight, lucky for me,but that will differ with the different sprocket #'s
