Greetings fellow motorbicyclists.

Quick Question. I'm going to mount an engine mounted chain tensioner on my new bike and I'm wondering, whats the best way to get the spring mounted to the tensioner arm.

INstalling everything will be easy, but that last part of connecting the spring from the plate to the arm seems challenging. Its a pretty strong spring.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Is that YOUR picture of how you mounted it? If so, I'd leave it like that. That looks pretty good. It will be tough...you'll want to push up on the arm the sprocket is mounted to, while pulling the spring and hooking it. Be careful not to stretch the spring...if you do, a new extension spring can be purchased at any hardware store Hope this helps!
