    Hi guys,

I've seen a lot of your using the HF 99cc engine and seem to like it. I can't really argue with the price, less than $90.00 with 20% coupon! Bought two just for the heck of it.

    Two questions:

    1) Do you use the stock carb? If so how's the throttle response and what mods to jets and throttle do you make.

    2) Is there an intake that can fit to use a Mikuni 22. Ran these on the HF Greyhound 79cc and worked fine.

A dedicated HF 99cc Performance thread would be cool from the gurus (hint)

    All help appreciated.

    Dan

    Hey Dan,
    1. The stock carbs are a little lean running, especialy if you change intake and exhaust. Easy fix to drill out the main jet a little and then they work fine. great response, no flat spots, steady idle speed.
    2. all the external stuff interchanges between the two engines. The AGK kart poeple carry some performance parts and accesories like jackshafts anf other drive stuff for the 79 and 99 engines.

    Thanks Wayne,

Wow that's cool. If the external parts bolt up then I got an intake and a Mikuni just waiting :)

I still haven't unboxed them yet as I have to build a bike!
