I purchased this Chinese 3.5 Hangkai for my little Jon boat and just like the bike motors everybody warned me not to.

A year and a half later I have had no problems. I even sunk the sucker twice. I just pulled off the wet air cleaner and it fired up both times.

I was lucky enough both times to kill the motor before it went under. I think that helped a lot.

I paid less then $200 on ebay and I am glad I did. With the money I saved I was able to use that money to spend more time on the water.

Always catch something, last trip to Bartlett Lake I pulled a 3' dead branch out lol.

Was my first time going to Bartlett the water was ugly. Lots of spring run off from the mountains the water was so cloudy. I only caught two Big mouth bass that weren't even worth keeping.
