    Frozen engine or piston

excellent.... just make sure you're super careful installing rings and you make sure to get ring gaps oriented right at the retaining pins that are in piston ring grooves.

    Frozen engine or piston

If clutch cable is adjusted correctly, you should be able to roll bicycle around with only a slight bit of resistance while spark plug is in engine head and engine is correctly setup to run. These bikes need to be pedaled up to 6-8 mph and then while still pedaling forcefully we release the...

    Frozen engine or piston

my bike is loosing power and shaking

to correct this problem, just put a 16" rear wheel and tire on back of bike and then put a 29" wheel and tire on the front, that should level that carb out nicely....LOL Just messing with you..LOL, and yes carb is way to tilted forward to ever work right. Get a new intake for cheap and...

my bike is loosing power and shaking

Bingo...!!! The inconsistent and racing idle is a good indicator that the engine is pulling air in from somewhere other than through the carb. Something that concerns me about the power and speed dropping more and more every time you ride it as you described, is that I'm hoping you haven't...

    Straight Pipe

    Straight Pipe

I have been out of this game for the last few years, so even though Ive heard about and seen these PK100 / YD100 engines online, I have zero experience with them. seem interesting though for sure. Im curious about how well balanced these engines are compared to the typical PK80 or GT5 type...

    Straight Pipe

Not that it matters, but my all time fastest china girl bike did 52 mph with a straight pipe exhaust and I built others that would cruise at 40-45 mph with straight pipe, they pulled moderate hills good even with 34T & 36T sprockets, so if the noise isn't to much for someone personally and/or...

HI All, two not so simple questions.

Amen......... Im a believer in the dax 40mm stroke engines, haven't tried one of the two GT5 type engines I got from dax last year yet so not sure what I think of them yet, but I really like the PK80 40mm stroke engines Ive got from Duane.
