    my latest bike

I spun around on it a few times and donated to my church. The rear sprocket is a manic mechanic piece that can be found on the pirate cycles site. It's a 36 tooth. The rest of the kit is a 65cc thatsdax joint. The bike I bought used and beat up from Longhorn Bikes here in ATX. The...

    my latest bike

I haven't been on here in a while, but I recently finished a bike. Here is a youbube link: YouTube - 5cud6uddy's Channel If it doesn't go straight to the video, it's the one at the top of the list.

    Manic Mechanic Hub Adaptor

So I was going to use their hub adapter on my current project, but when I got ready to order it, they said that they weren't going to make anymore until mid june. I got a buddy to machine the stock sprocket for me and that worked but, I realized that I put the thing on wrong so the chain is...

    Different Style Tanks?

Is your design set in stone? I mean, is it an aesthetic preference or more of a fuel volume requirement?

    Different Style Tanks?

I've thought about it and went so far as to "clean" one out so I can goof with it. Now that's dedication becuase I basically can't stand heineken. The problems I ran into was: Where the heck do I mount it? How do I get inside of it? How do I tap it for the petcock (JB weld?) How do...

    Micargi Cheetah

Neither do I, nor am I willing to spend that much on a bike, but how much does it cost to take a double look at the components I was talking about? Especially the hub. I like some of the Micargi bikes, but after reading what I read on Ratrod bikes, I would definitely double check some things...

    Micargi Cheetah

Be careful with the Micargi's. I've heard on ratrod bikes that they tend to fall apart pretty quickly. I'd beef up the wheels by going to stainless with 12g spokes and double check the headset and bb. Also look at the rear hub too just in case. I think that these inexpensive bikes...

Got my Cranbrook about half done.

Regarding your cables. I don't shorten mine, but I do try to route them so that they are not failing about like a 5 year old in the deep end of the pool. The reason why I refrain from cutting the cables is in case whoever owns the bike decides to go to taller bars. I have a vid on youtube...

    Motorized Cruiser Begginer!

I rock a 65cc kit from thatsdax. My buddy has a 50cc and it has some get up and go in that too. I wouldn't believe the vendor if he says it is 80cc's. I think the average size is about 65cc. Of course I may be wrong. 60-65cc is a good middle of the road type of size.

    Motorized Cruiser Begginer!

You can use the one you have. The only advice I'd give you is to look at the downtube on whatever bike you are interested in using. Many bikes now do not use a round tube, they are more oval or egg shaped. Like the wallyworld Next bicycles. Other than that, let your freak flag fly. The only...

Ever think about making your own frame?

Thanks for the info. I eventually want to start building my own frames. The closest thing I tried about 2 years ago was welding two bike frames together to make a chopper. It almost worked but I really didn't know what I was doing and there were several design flaws.

    Bikes on Sale

I have been seeing these OP cruisers in wallyworld for about a month now. I heard about them on Rat Rod Bikes and went to check them out. I like the lines of the frame and it's basically blacked out. It does have retarded stickers but that is minor. I saw this Panama Jack bike at wally...

    chain rubbing...help

1: Have you tried to slide the adapter over? 2: How wide are your tires? 3: Is the manic sprocket dished? If so try flipping it over. 4: Is your wheel centered between the chainstays?

Welding on Big box store bikes?

You bike is already welded. That dude might not be to smart. I have tried to mig weld a bike frame, but I burned through it. I am not a good welder yet either. I took it to a guy I know and he smoothed out some of my mess with a mig, no problems. I'm sure it depends on the frame. If the...

    Why?

I'm working with a 4-stroke so I've replaced all but two clutch cover screws, and the four screws that bolt the engine to the plate with allen bolts from home depot. Then I locktited the ayche ee double hockey sticks out of them. I would recommend anyone with anything but allen bolts on their...
