Thank you for all your good wishes and kind messages gentlemen :D I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday and had myself jabbed with needles either for blood tests or to put system boosting concoctions into myself. I told my doctor that I was giving up light engineering as a hobby and...

Looks like an older lugged motorcycle frame, - or at least the front half of one, - grafted to a set of pressed steel Fanny-B girder forks. The engine could be from a Fanny-B too or at least something similar. I used to own a lightweight Fanny-B (as well as a Plover) and that's what all those...

Silverbear! I still have a Villiers cab here that I was going to send to you. With everything that's been happening here over the past few months I completely forgot about it. I shall do my best to get it properly packed as soon as I can and take it down to the local post office for a postage...

I don't think you should be giving out your address on the internet, - not unless you want all manner of undesirable folk climbing in through your windows or breaking into your garage.

Now you've gone and made me cry Tom. Don't worry they are good tears :) I could so rock wearing a hat like that. In fact I could so rock wearing Karen's whole outfit. And there was even a wonderful colonial era train waiting at the station. Gentlemen, I would be glad to raise a glass to...

Thank you so much for all your good wishes and kind thoughts gentlemen. I promise I will look in from time to time to see what everyone is doing. We are in the most hot and humid part of our Summer at the moment which is not a good time for me as the additional stress of the heat and the...

As some of you know I've been ill for a while. I have a viral infection of the nervous system as well as an auto-immune disorder. Apart from general fatigue, joint and muscle pain, poor balance, cognitive confusion etc etc, I fall asleep without warning dropping straight into REM sleep which...

The actual chassis is made from steel Zoran. The body is made from wood. There isn't much information around on these Ptitauto vehicles Steve. From what I've read they are supposed to be a little larger than the Mochet velocars, but by how much I don't know...

Thanks for posting the Ptitauto picture Zoran :) I really like those. It's a pity only ten of them were made.

My Dad had a Singer 9, - not the Le Mans model though, it was an open roadster. I put new bearings in the gearbox for him because I used to be good at that sort of thing. A really great car and the single overhead camshaft engine was a nice piece of work.
