    COVID-19 Vaccine

I know a lot of people are not going to take the vaccine and that's ok, my wife and I want to be able to have our grandkids back, our kids will not let them come over for fear of them infecting us. I wear a mask when I'm inside a school or office building at work, it's a school system...

    COVID-19 Vaccine

My wife got her first vaccine injection Friday, she qualifies because she cares for her parents. She could have got it earlier if we had known. I can get mine starting Monday, Georgia starts vaccinations for school system personnel then. Our system has received an allotment of the J&J vaccine...

It looks like you need a smaller jet, no two engines are exactly the same. It's best to jet by plug color and engine temperature, sometimes we over think things.

    HELP!!pls Squeaking when release clutch

Welcome to the forum Brodie, there could be several things keeping it from running. Did you replace the cylinder? New rings rarely seat to a old cylinder, although I have one engine that I replaced rings only and it runs fine. The clutch could be slipping keeping it from turning over. Last check...

It’s hard to believe that glue will hold over time, I may be wrong, I was about the Glock “plastic gun”, I said it would never sell!

Bike builders that have machine tools/shops

Big name body shops here just replace panels, that’s why I took my 50 to a older gentleman that has been doing body work as a career. He cut out any damage and welded in patches, minimal body filler was used. He is so good he can be talking to me and rubbing his hand over a fender and locate and...

Bike builders that have machine tools/shops

I remember in the eighties when I was an installer for Atlanta gas and light they used a torch set to weld everything, all of their meter sets were great looking welds. I bet a guy with like talent could repair it and make it look good. I at one time was a fairly good welder with stick or mig...

New to site, but I've been around

Welcome to the forum, I have a similar exhaust on the bike that is my avatar, I used a gutted stock muffler as a silencer. The sound is much quieter and is much like a motorcycle, if you have access to a welder it's a good option.

    Proper spark plug gap size

Larry some of the kit supplied plugs are just something they drop in the box, some don't cross reference to anything close to the NGK. I know the NGK works, my oldest engine is now 10 years old and has been running one since day one, it came with the three prong plug.

    Proper spark plug gap size

You can have them cross reference B6HS to autolite at AutoZone, they run pretty good but not as good as the NGK. As was said above gap the stock plug and use it while they order the proper plug.

    Proper spark plug gap size

NGK B6HS is the standard tip and BP6HS it the extended tip, the higher the number the colder the heat range.

Why would a piston fail on a 2 stroke kit

I run 32/1 on all of my 2-cycle engines no matter what it's on, bike, chain saw, blower etc. I'm still running the same piston on my original bike engine that is now 10 years old, if you get it tuned correctly it will last if you don't abuse it.

Why would a piston fail on a 2 stroke kit

If you damaged the piston you will need to replace the cylinder as well, also take the engine off the bike and wash out the debris that fell in the crankcase. I use mixed fuel to flush the crankcase, you can find a top end kit from the vendors on the forum or on eBay.
