I'm guessing the wide crank set is universal? So whether you have a beach cruizer, mountain bike etc it will fit any bike? Just curious.

Yeah there’s a bike shop near me I’ve been to before. I’ll probably just pay them to put in a new crank and pedals. Fortunately I was only about a 15 min walk from home when it broke.

Yeah. Was planning on doing that. Are they generally expensive? Never had a pedal break before. I’m guessing any bicycle shop would sell them. Just worried if I get new ones will they hit my exhaust. Don’t have a torch etc to bend the exhaust. The ones the bike came with happened to clear.

Fortunately there’s no piece stuck in the hole in the crank the whole pedal threads just stripped out in the hole and on the part that goes into the hole. I can post a pic tomorrow after work for a visual.

I know it’s just a cheap cranbrook from Walmart is there an easy way to fix this or would it just be better to go to a bike shop and get a whole new crank set for it that might be a better quality? Thanks for any help.

Ok I ordered 2 of those plugs on Amazon so I have an extra. When I get them I'll put one in and let ya know if the motors running better. Thanks again.

Ok. If I remember right I had Autozone look up that exact plug but the only result they got was the one I bought. Would I maybe have better luck at like oreilly or carquest auto parts? As for the oil mix, soon as my gas can is empty I'll switch to 32:1 and try that.

UPDATE... checked my plug again after running the bike for about 30 mins. Seems to be a bit more grey than black. Still too lean? I’ll post a pic tomorrow after work.

I just wanted to say thank you to all who helped me with building this bike from A to Z. Took the bike out earlier, got the coaster brake anchored to the frame and so far it seems to be holding up. Went out riding for a bit and was sooooo worth it! I will keep you guys updated if anything else...

To indian22: what kind of bracket is that that the other two pieces connect to? I like that setup and willing to try it on my cruzier. Thanks! I'll post a pic of how mine looks right now a bit later so you have a visual.

Thats the route im leaning toward. Unless there's a simple way to fashion a new bracket mine snapped clean off.

Just thought I'd see if its possible to remove the whole coaster brake setup so I can be rid of that damn coaster brake. Was riding a bit on Sunday and and bracket holding coaster brake on snapped off and the coster brake rotated and loosened my rear hub. How can I be rid of the coaster brake...

Did notice spark plug has what looks like a little soot or something.

OK guys. One more thing. Yesterday I went to both AutoZone and O’Reilly auto parts and it seems like none of these places have the right spark plug for these engines where else can I get them?

Yeah the idea with the washers i thought about right after my last post. I'll try that first if that doesnt work I'll go with the other suggestion. Thanks!
