It was a winter so I did not reply. I think this was in November I got call from some Honda Rep and he stated "this motor is not for continuous use". I wasn't sure I shuold laugh or cry. I tried my motor today several times and no change. The motor dies even if there is no load at all. I checked...

    Honda motor dying

Citi-sporter - thanks for your time and comments ! Although I do not know yet if this would help al least it is constructive. I called Honda support today and the guy hand up on me when I told him I'm recording. Besides he was simply an idiot telling me all kind of crap but not helping me fix...

    Honda GX35 Bogging during acceleration

Oil ? Castrol It seems that it has nothing to do with the fuel at the moment. When I just ride on a flat surface after 1 hour the motor starts dying and then when I try to start I can feel more resistance when I pull the line. The repair shop asked me to pay for repairs and stated it would take...

    Honda GX35 Bogging during acceleration

OK, so I brought motor (along with the bike) to the authorized repair shop. They claim they cleaned carburator (including the jests) but still could not resolve the problem. Finally they replaced the carburator (original ordered from Honda). I had to pay $12 for shipping (what a shame). Right...

    Honda motor dying

I took is apart and cleaned what I could. I had no tool or wire to go through the jest so that is the only thing left. I asked at the service and the want $75 just to inspect it. New carb is around $50 so it makes no sense. I have seen also some message that somebody had a problem with coil but...

    Honda motor dying

Checked fuel lines, filter and cup - no issues at all. The motor is only few months old on warranty so your suggesations of buying some cheap Chineese crap would not work for me - thank you. Original Carb is about $50 but why would I buy it if I do not even know what is wrong. The motor is...

    Honda motor dying

I purchased Konda GX-35 + Kit from STATON.INC in October 2017. It is still on warranty. All together I have about 50hrs riding or so. The Engine runs but when I open the throtle 100% it is dying. I was able to ride only at about 30-40% of the max speed. Checked filters, fuel lines, cleaned gas...

    Honda GX35 Bogging during acceleration

Similar issue :-( I took a ride of 25 miles today and the same thing happened. Half way I run out of gas so had to stop and add some from the bottle to get to the gas station. Since then my motor started dying on full throtle. Not sure if this is related but I could barely make my way back...

which one for this bike ?

I'm considering installing motor kit for this bike. Since this is Alu frame (20") I'm looking for something ultralight. Preferably 38cc or so and possibly in-frame mounted (I need space on the back for the laguage basket etc.). I have looked several solutions but most lower brands do not show...
