    Greetings from Boise, ID

Hello (again) everyone! I know I have been absent for quite some time, and now that I'm almost done with my degree, I figure it's time to pick this hobby back up. I only have one more semester to go (just two more classes; going part time), recently lost my job last summer (2010), and have a...

    Idaho Laws

I've seen an increased number of people riding around on motorized bikes lately, and each time I see somone, it makes me want to tackle my bike project and get out there riding again! I've had almost NO time, and haven't touched it in a LONG time. Sad, yes, but I will get back to it hopefully...

    Idaho Laws

Dude - thanks for writing! I'm currently working on finishing my college degree, and haven't had much time for my bike, but I'm glad you were able to win in court with both your tickets! I've never been pulled over while riding, but every time I hop on my bike I have a copy of the Idaho...

    Hello from Idaho!

Hi Cody! I know it's kind of belated, but welcome to the forum! I don't log in very often (school, work, and family commitments come first), but usually during the summer I try to post more often. I'm in Boise, and am glad to see other fellow Idahoans on here!

    Hi From Idaho

Welcome, James! I'm in Boise, and it's funny: I haven't been on this board in a very long time, when as soon as I checked it tonight, I see that someone else from Idaho has posted not too long ago! It's rare that I see anyone else from Idaho on here. I have been noticing, though, more and...

Norm light!! ( and new bag, valve and other lights)

I was at Fred Meyer last night, and found a light for $10, so I bought it (minus my wife's 15% discount :)). It's the Bell Dawn Patrol headlight, and it's VERY bright! Took it out last night, and I had NO problems seeing at all, plus I reduced the vibration on my bike with a few tweaks, and...

New Air Cleaner Cover: Functionality Over Looks

So I didn't make it out to the garage until after dark last night, and took my bike for a night ride. The air cleaner cover worked great, and doesn't seem to impede the air flow any, so I'll leave it alone for now. Felt GREAT to finally get back out, and on a night ride, no less!!

New Air Cleaner Cover: Functionality Over Looks

I was thinking the same thing just this morning! I'll probably do that after I get home from work today...

New Air Cleaner Cover: Functionality Over Looks

I had originally modified my air cleaner cover when I put my engine on my current frame, and it kept breaking and coming apart. Well, when I say "modified," I really mean I cut the stock cover to fit, and it cracked. No super glue worked, and so I finally just cut one from the bottom of a soda...

    my 1st night time ride

Man, there's just something about riding at night that's TOTALLY different than riding during the day! My very first ride of my first MB build was at 1:00 a.m. in Sept '05. I loved buzzing around the neighborhood and getting SO much joy out of my bike!! I now try to ride at night as much as...

    Idaho Laws

It can either be a curse or a relief that Idaho is still behind the times with their definitions of motorcycles, mopeds, and motor-assisted bicycles (my reasoning below): ************************************************** Excerpt from Title 49, Chapter 1: Motor Vehicles Definitions Idaho...

    can i get a light?

You guys keep talking about a light working off of a "white wire". I was aiming to get a light (like Norm's) that runs off the engine, and even though I may simply go with Pablo's original Bell LED light (cheap @ $14), I'm still perplexed at my engine and the elusive white wire. My engine...

    My Bikes

LOL; I completely forgot about those! I actually have very long legs (I'm 6'1"), but when I first completed this bike, I had the handle bars turned upside down, and had a bent seat post from Spooky Tooth. I rode it bent over with my face close to the handle bars, so I tried to add foot pegs...

Norm light!! ( and new bag, valve and other lights)

Pablo - I'm curious about your "Norm light", and what you got at Fred Meyer. I am in need of a new light, as I LOVE to ride at night during the summer, and the round head light on your bike is probably the "Norm" light, correct? The other light (Bell) is probably the one you got at Freddy's...

    My Bikes

Sure thing! Here are some pics of the new wheel, as I got it completed today and took a few quick test rides to make sure everything was in working order. I also replaced the stock clutch lever with a Pyramid lever that matches my Pyramid dual-pull lever for my caliper brakes. MUCH more...

    My Bikes

(...continued from previous post) Then, during our 4th of July BBQ this year, I invited my brother and one of my buddies to “take a ride on the wild side”. My buddy goes first, and, just after his third lap around the block and after he stopped the engine and dismounted, I hear this horrible...

    My Bikes

Here is a synopsis of my first and “second” build. I put quotes around the word second because even though it is technically a build of my second bike, the engine has remained the same. I’ve only ever owned one engine, so read on if you’re interested: I completed my first build in early...

Why I Started This Motor Bicycle Forum

Cookie and Kelly: I'm here! I was originally part of the Motokruisers forum, as well, and that's what got my love of this hobby jumpstarted!! Glad to see you are both here and still alive and kicking!

    iRide Customs Boardtrack bike

No words come to mind, other than: WOW! A beautiful bike....of course! Nice work, iRide; your bikes are always worth looking at. (^)

    Greetings from Boise, ID

Hello all! Just found this forum, and am happy to be here. I'm currently working with my "second" build (I'll explain later for the quotes), and am of course having a blast! I love working and riding my motorbike (a.k.a. motokruiser, moped, motoredbike, motor-assisted bike...the list goes on...
