How many holes where in the top tube... I am considering a similar build

I am trying to mount a disc brake on a front wheel. It is a standard wheel ( actually 140 spoke) but no "freewheel" so I am drilling the hub making my own adapter/spacer and caliper mouting bracket...Just wondering if anyone else has attempted this
