hey! im in carmel. it can be a beautiful ride, but i have also found that the roads are dagerously narrow and the hills necessitate a shift kit unless you want to pedal assist.

Hi, I'm in the process of motorizing my mountain bike (motor comes in on this Monday. I live just a few miles from the Connecticut border (Patterson, in between Brewster and Pawling) and plan to go riding there. I was wondering how you have found this part of NY to be with regards to motorized bikes. I'm part of the senior citizen crowd.I'm north of NYC by about 40 miles. In putnam county. Right next to Danbury,CT. I figure a little more than 1hr. from u. Why?
