Having trouble finding the correct crankcase seals on my 48cc Chinese motor build. The seals I find and received are much too small. The one original seal is marked 17x30x7.5 but the only ones I can d find are all 14.8. It has the smaller 6'mm studs but the larger intake and exhaust ports and regular base gaskets for 48cc engines are undersized.
From what I can gather, correct me if I am wrong, it is unusual for the 48cc Chinese motors to have 6203 bearings and a 40mm intake. My questions us ate the larger bt80 crankcase seals what are going to work for my crankcase as I believe that variant uses 6203 instead of 6202 crank bearings. As I am finding impossible to find the correct size seals using 48,49,50 c.c. Keywords.
.

Anyone have links to where to find crankcase seals that fit this seemingly odd duck?

Did you mic the piston? Early 66cc engines used 6mm studs.
Yeah, it's a 49cc engine, number 3 piston 40mm.

You can see how.much bigger the one partial seal is to the standards.

Do you have a hydraulic shop nearby? If you have a local auto parts store with a knowledgeable person they can locate seals by mic sizes. Bearings and Drives is a good source if there's one in your area. If you walk into the right place with crank and cases a lot of the old time parts store guys will be glad to help, I'm not talking about the big chain stores, if you can't give them a year ,make and model they can't help you.

Thanks, that's kinda what I been thinking. If I didn't happen to have every other part needed I wouldn't really bother for a 49cc. But these mystery seals are the only part I don't have.
