Ive had this thing nearly a year, broke it, fixed it, broke it again and fixed it again, back and forth.
Only trouble at the moment is spark plug boot likes to bounce around at "top" rpms
My top speed a while ago was in the 30,s im down to 22, with very simillar exhaust to what i run right now. Current exhaut is 1/4 inch water pipe that bumps up to 1in midway through.

Nice bike.. that’s the hobby break it fix it! If you look inside the plug boot there is metal.. you can squeeze that piece of metal so it tightens on to plug better.

Brendan I'd suggest going back to a factory exhaust or an expansion pipe to regain performance lost to the water pipe exhaust. Two stroke engines are VERY sensitive to exhaust system changes. Also all that weight will eventually break the aluminum jug at the exhaust port studs. The aluminum castings are very weak on these motors.

I get where you're coming from but as of recent i gained a jump in performance due to the same effect from an expansion pipe and the weight on the jug is not an issue at all as i have made supports for the pipe

Glad to hear it Brenden, breaking that casting is really common even using the kit pipe, unless it's supported.

Those cheap spark plug boots I unscrew them off the coil , go to a local garage and ask them for old auto plug wires , go home and cut n fit that on . Now you have a proper spark plug boot that wont rattle off for free as well lol !
