Need ideas. Rubber mallet and a towel wrapped around muffler seams best option. I dont have a shop or a big vice.

I hit it with a rubber mallet and protected evwrything with plenty of towels.
Pedals clear. Problem now is chain for 36 tooth sprocket too loose and too much fuel in carb..
Wants to flood out. Btw. Anyone recognize this Carb. Came with my recent 66cc .... Had a 49cc on this bike before.

I'd have been concerned about snapping the exhaust studs. Or fracturing the exhaust's flange. Those cheapo expansion chambers are made from some flimsy metal that creases easily. Maybe your whack with the mallet simply bent the exhaust studs?
Friendly tip: That's nice looking engine in your bike. When posting asking for ideas, why not at least give forum members a chance to respond before taking the kind of drastic action which for most folks would have been a stretch even as a last resort? The wide crank set suggestion was sound advice...and a common fix for your query.

Yes, don't do that, you will break the exhaust studs! You need to remove the pipe if you want to try to bend it. You might be able to bend the peddle crank a little bit or maybe file it a little bit to give you more room. Either that or wide peddle cranks.
