1.) SBP expansion chamber from Pirate cycles or of coarse Sick Bike Parts

2.) If your engine has the Aluminum intake get the Manic Mechanic Ported intake or the Stock steel intake for it and if you get the stock steel one get a dremel tool and grind all the rough spots out of it, that will help it flow better.

3.) replace the spark plug with an NGK B6HS

4.) get a high grade plug wire from Pirate or SBP

5.) Order new head gasket and then remove head and get a piece of plate glass at home depot or Lowes 8 1/2" X 11" in size or approx. then also get some 220grit & 400 wet dry sand paper and tape one sheet of the 220 paper on the glass with some duct tape nice and flat, then lay head on glass and then with very even lite to med. pressure move the head in a circular motion and remove 1/2 to 3/4 of the squish ring ( the raised surface sealing ring ) on the head and then finish it off with the 400 to give it a very smoothe sealing surface, also spray head gasket with copper coat gasket sealer for a good seal on the head gasket, doing all this will increase the compression a bit which will give the engine a bit more kick for helping to reach those higher speeds you're looking for.

4.) All of these things done will require that you retune the carb most likely so after you make any mods to exhaust or the intake you should run the engine a few blocks and then back, let it sit and cool for a few minutes and then remove and check the color of the spark plug to make sure it is a nice light to medium brown and not white which would mean the engine is too lean on fuel and too rich on air, clean the plug with wire brush and carb or brake cleaner between each test run after adjustments are made to clip on needle or jet resizing until you get it right, and you will pick up some speed by doing all or some of these mods. several MPH possibly and/or likely in my experience.

If nothing else do the Expansion chamber, plug and wire, this will help a bunch if you are still running all the stock stuff guaranteed..... this will give you more speed and more low end power as well, the stock mufflers are very restrictive on most of the kits and are huge power robbers on these little engines.

put a smaller sprocket on the rear whel like a 40T or 36T this will help if you do the expansion chamber and intake for sure, dont go with a 36T and not get away from the stock exhaust, the engine will likely not pull the 36T very well unless you free up the exhaust especially

Best wishes.....

Peace
Hey I have a 80cc bicycle motor kit I bought from Amazon from Calloway and its all stock I run 38 mph and want to try to get into the 50 mph range what would be the best way to get a extra 12 to 15 mph I am running 44 t sprocket

i hit 46mph on a bike. took a lot of work to make tht thing go so fast. bad thing, riding like tht destroys derailleurs and chains as soon as it decides to skip a tooth. good thing, by making my bike fast and powerful, i get great fuel economy with gears. want speed, a torque 66cc 2 stroke is what ya want. something tht maxes out at like 5500 to 6000, but will over rev a bit. you want tht 5500 -6000 giving ya at least 3.5 hp to the ground. i'm getting about 4.5 out of my engine tht does 46mpg. ported, custom intake and pipe, tuned in carb ( nt at tht) for the pipe, tuned the pipe to the rpms i wanna spin, high compression heat, squish set, redirected the transfers, better ignition system and wire, and jack shafted it. she'll cruise at 40mph no problem. getting awesome gas mileage. usually keep it at 30 though, for jonny law. she'll pop a wheel in first or second if you hammer the throttle. i just have to be easy on it so i dont blow stuff up. bike parts were never designed to handle tht kinda power. if you ride these, check those bearing often. you'll be surprised the day you do and find nothing but grey paste.

But I'm hitting 38 mph all stock nothing done to it at all well the weld on my exhaust broke so now it straight piped but when that happened I lost like 2 mph was thinking bout getting a jackshaft kit for the gears but I saw on a thread that the best exhaust is the cr80 off a dirt bike and a high compression head and a better spark plug and magneto and cdi u think with the exhaust, head, magneto, and cdi I can get a extra 5 to 6 mph

you are " hitting" 38 mph. i can run 46 mph flat out till i run out of gas. try tht with a single speed and you'll burn them rings up and blow the top end up ( not boom like kill ya, but boom like rings gonna break and be spit in to the header). i know i can hit 50. i am eventually going to custom build my gear cassette. that way i can hit 50 mph easier and hold it like i can do with 46 right now. plus with sustained high rpms, them bearings are gonna go fast. it's why i ported my engine for torque instead of rpm, and slapped on the long header to match the long intake. i'm not trying to blow them, i wanna ride them. people tell me to get a motorcycle, i have one. it's just as fun as these bikes, buy way more expensive to play with. plus i can't take my kaw down a bike path or sidewalk without serious trouble following. lol. i do not recommend running tht single speed at 38 mph very long. where as if i could find the right road around here, no traffic and straight, no hills, and long enough, i know i could get tht 50mph. just need a long enough run. the 46mph came from the longest safe street i can use around here for this. i ran out of road, but had more rpms to go and was still gaining, slowly, but gaining.

oh on exhaust, build your own, or get one of them mz65 pipes, they kick rear for a stockish engine!! the mz65 was build for a 65cc engine, perfect for a 66cc china girl. nice low end pick up, mid range too, and even goes up pretty good on the top end. nice all around pipe for these bikes. i wouldn;t use it for racing, but trails and street riding, it adds quite a bit of punch once you jet your carb for it.

i've ordered stuff from zeda with no problems. i only use paypal or amazon online for purchases. they usually tell me a week or so for delivery, but i always get it in 3-4 days. paypal and amazon, walmart, and ebay all require the sellers to be on par or they lose the right to sell through them. **** kings moto had a typo on it was either amazon or walmart, for pipe tht are normally 60-80 bucks, for 9 bucks, 10 after tax, with free shipping!! i bought quite a few, they shipped them all to me, 10 bucks each. it's why i still do business with them.

i've never got a stock engine to 45, unless it was in the back of my truck, lol. i spent many of hours on my green bean. way more than any other bike, even my kaw. blood, sweat and pure rage went into getting tht motor to pull 4.5-5 hp at such a low rpm. she's strong enough to snap a single speed chain if i crack the throttle hard from a start off. i've only ever got tht engine to rev to 8k rpms. by tht point the power is dropping off fast. lots of work goes into making reliable speed machines. i beat the paddoozies out of tht bike and it begs for more. never even gets heat fatigue. i give some of the credit to blendzall formula 455. really seals the rings good, and takes care of any hot spots during hard long WOT runs. i ride my green bean like a dirt bike.

idk anything about tht motor, but if you are gonna drop tht kinda cash, just get a ktm50 and pipe. the ktm is a really swell reliable pitbike engine. 7hp right out of the box. little porting, bigger carb and an upgraded high rpm pipe, and you can pull 10hp from a ktm 50. bet you could get close to 85mph with tht. i know they will do over 50mph with the right gearing.

i plan on my next build, as a ktm50. will be a while though. i've been dropping thousands into building a better shop at home. i plan on going into building custom off road machines for a side hobby. i've got to many engines sitting in my basement. i need to start building them into something and selling them. it's getting crowded down there. lol
