im wondering how I broke the mount bolt first off so I can prevent that from happening again, I've just recently took another link out the chain and it rode well for a decent run, like traveling in traffic for like an hour, the motor is new, could I have let the clutch out too fast and oh well now what extraction tool I guess

When you get the studs out make sure to mount the motor solid to the frame, no gaps or looseness. If the studs are pulled at a angle they will break due to vibration.

Front stud or rear? Is it broken below the surface of the block?
You must pedal up to a comfortable speed before engaging clutch. Never rev the engine and try to engage clutch from a dead standstill.
No- you cannot release the clutch too fast. It's simply engaged or disengaged...Not a featherable clutch.

the front mount right side as sit on the seat, the stud broke maby .050in inside the block, I bought a extractor kit and broke the left direction drill bit from drilling out the broken stud so I got another idea and this time it's a drill bit with a tap 8.by1.25 pitch on a blind, I didn't take the broken piece to measure correctly, used it anyway and it's like this I couldn't start the drill hole dead center broken area ,so some of the broken stud is now part of the new pilot hole for the tap it's not completely removed my drill angle was off can still see it, nevertheless I'm in the block. 350in so far and well had to put the tools down( got work),now thinking maby drill in .750in and tap up to .700 hoping I dont drill through the block make a hole or weak spot compromise the integrity of the crankcase wall and then im out of ideas haven't thought of my next move, well see how the drilling goes,........over

Sorry if it's too late for this advise here goes anyway...I would have taken a new dremmel cutting disc and used it to cut a slot into the block down and into to the surface of the broken stud. I've removed these in the past using this method and a narrow blade screwdriver.

you would really cut a slot into the block, wouldn't that remove material from the new hole then less material for the threads to work with?

ok, check it out I've fixed my delima with this motor bicycle, I've drilled out the broken mount bolt on the engine block front right sitting on the seat lookin forward,, didn't start off straight , slightly angled, regardless left the threads that were still visual drilled.410in in the block,(I use the standard measure sys)MAERICA! re taped with a 8× .125 tap and put a 2in bolt, and bent the bracket to form to the bike and bent the corners flat to fit the bolt angle, put it all together and marked every bolt with a white germinate marker for a visual in case any come loose and now I'm back in action **** works

I'm talking a "Dremmel Disc". if stud is broken 3/16 or more into block I wouldn't suggest this fix. You provided no pic to look at.

So - you removed more material using your method above than a simple slot with a dremmel tool.

No pic of your problem or repair was included in your post.
Glad you fixed it, Good Luck.
