Drive sprocket won’t turn

So this is my first build, and once it was all together, I found that on disengaging the clutch the bike would not roll but what little slack the chain would allow before the chain would run out of play and snag. I’ve gone through clutch re-set and cleaning procedures, such as cleaning the pad fibers out, resetting the clutch flower bolt, and tightening up the clutch cable. I’m fairly certain now that the issue lies with the drive sprocket (or small sprocket) now. I’ve removed the spark plug and attempted to turn the drive sprocket with no luck. ‍♂ Any ideas? I’m fresh out. :/

Clutch was stuck to the plate from sitting in a box on a shelf for who knows how long...may still be stuck now.
After a new engine is mounted securely to the bike the first thing you should do is remove the 5 screws holding the clutch cover in place then remove the cover. Grab and twist the clutch lever on the opposite side and and hold to disengage. At the same time with a wooden or soft mallet tap around the diameter of the clutch til you hear it go "POP".
After all you have done as mentioned above I would be surprised if it is still stuck now, but try as described see if it releases.

I have done that process once before, but I will try it holding the clutch bar instead of the clutch handle. Thanks!

And it worked!! But now I see that the drive sprocket May have some rough edges. I think the chain is trying to buckle over unless I roll very slow. :/ i don’t have Tools to remove the drive sprocket. Any ideas of how to fix this Macgyver Style?

Hey it all worked! Now it starts but when I start it it slowly dies away. If I give it throttle it works too but that dies down as well. :/ can ya help me figure what might be killing it?

Be sure your tank cap is venting properly. Test by loosening the cap then go for a ride. If that's the prob- drill a tiny hole in the top of gas cap.

The gas cap was not closed properly and I’ve fix that but sadly the issue still stands. :(

The gas tank Cap must vent or fuel will not flow consistently or not at all. Liquid locked - like holding water in a straw with your finger tip. Drill a hole 1/16 or less...center of the cap. Eliminate the question. ----Also, are you sure the throttle control cable is properly inserted into carb? Be sure the plastic/brass slide (barrel) with the ramp cut @ the bottom of barrel is lined up with the idle adjust screw, and on the opposite side-- the full narrow slot side rides on the little brass pin pressed in carb throat. Do and check this, then...
Let's move on.

Like I mean the brass clamp that hold the carburetor on is set by a pin that holds it in its place. ‍♂

ey!! I actually got it running! It turned out to be a bad magneto this I wasn’t getting any spark. Now however I’m seeing components such as the gas tank and muffler vibrating loose. Any suggestions to secure them down?

Im not sure where this ramp that needs to be to the idle screw is. :(
Unscrew carb top pull barrel out with cable. then you will see exactly what I mean.
Cut an old handle bar grip in half lengthwise and place between frame top bar and gas tank. use blue lock tite on your tank studs and be careful not to overtighten.
You need a strap or brace to secure the muffler to the frame. If you do not do this the vibration, over time will destroy the threads in the block and then BIG Problems only a cylinder replacement will resolve.
