Good evening everyone....

I'm a guy who once was pretty active on this forum. But a few years back I 'went scooter'. I had bought my wife a little Honda scooter. And she took to it pretty enthusiastically. This tempted me in the same direction. I now have two of them for myself. One set up for summer, the other for winter. And I gotta admit, I like them a whole lot.

This led me to give up the old happy time/china girl bikes that I had been riding. During this time I'd occasionally pondered logging in here just to see what's up. But since I was no longer riding and building bikes, I really didn't have anything to say. Yet this place has some friendly and helpful folks and I'd always been happy to have any sort of association with them. So that was kinda sad.

Anyway....as fun as those scooters are, I still found myself wanting to flex and exercise my own muscles at least a bit. So I bought an e-bike. It's an impressive machine, too. And I'd rather ride it. That'll be good for my health.

So I'm kinda back in the motorized bicycle game now. It's not the same, though, since this isn't actually my build. But I'll look in on the e-bike section from time to time. If it's active, then every now and then I might have something (barely) worthwhile to say. And, of course, I might learn a thing or two.

Yes, it has been fun. Yesterday I made sure to take each scooter out for a little bit of riding. Just to get their blood moving a bit. And.......yep........fun to ride.

But being on a bicycle again is even better.
