Greatly Improved e bike Kit

I thought I'd save money and explore selling ebikes, and import 6 ebike 250 w 36 v 11aAH kits direct from china thru a alibaba listed company. I ordered the kits in may and just got them a few days ago. What a fiasco. First off after paying customs, brokerage fees, PayPal fees, plus all the headaches and and additional 850 bucks to get them from Ca to Mn I saved only a couple hundred dollars total. We had to waste the entire summer getting them here combined with the months of broken promises on shipping ETAs.
The one shocking caveat is that the kits are extremely improved over kits I've gotten from other USA suppliers.
Here is the 10 ways they are improved.
1. The controller is built into the battery holder. So it saves on wiring and space on the bike. Granted the old box controllers were small but after all the wires go to it it's quite a rats nest.
2 the connectors are all 100 percent water proof
3 the amount of wiring and connectors are cut in half
4 the connectors are all round multi pin hard rubber style.
5 built in hub speedo monitor
6 the LCD display is smaller and much modernized over what I've seen before.
7 the optional. pedal assist components are built 10 times the quality I've seen before.
8 the optional brake motor cut off switch adds to your existing brake handles
Using simple magnetic switches, so they can never break.
9 these new geared brushless hub motors are always totally silent at all rpms even starting out.
10 the motors have more torque than past ones I've used.

It was just nice to see progress in quality and simplicity in install with half the wires. These will no doubt filter out to the public in due time. I do not know
Reliability nor whether the built in hidden controllers will not blow out, if it does one will have to replace the entire new style dolphin battery holder.

This is the E- bike I just Built with the consolidated controller into the battery base. I took it on a 5 mile maiden run today even though it was below freezing and snow on the ground. This thing is torquey (sic) and smooth. It looks almost as clean as one that has the wires hidden inside the tubes. A close u pic of the new style waterproof connectors. I furthered the clean look by using color matching zip ties and then taking a black sharpie to get rid of broken lines of the bike. both in any cables but graphics....Ok I will climb back under my rock as nobody is interested.

Dillingers in The US and AU sell this greatly improved kit now for 629.00 with a 36v 10ah battery. These improved kits get up to 62 miles between charges. What I love is the Torque and the long range. I just did a 16 mile trip and still on full battery in gauge.
we will ride again tomorrow suppose to hit 48 degrees. They dead silent at all rpm, starting out and cruising.

Top speed is a safe 19 mph ( street Legal) in the US. Its the lower gearing in the hub that is providing the torque.
I have other ebikes with brush less - geared hubs that do 25 but have less torque on take off and make a bit of noise until a sweet spot is found. I still love those also but this kit is so much better made and so easy with much longer range.

Remember a front hub gives you full 2 wheel drive when you pedal and are a god send on trails, soft sand, snow or going up hill or over obstacles. Pulling instead of pushing is so much better off trail. On the road that little hub is so small it makes 0 difference in handling. Hope this helps.

Xseler, I have both types Gas and Electric and I have to admit I ride the ebikes more because I can legally use the bike paths and sidewalks. We have a ton of bikes paths that make for a safe away from traffic runs. Most bike paths in cities and suburbs are also short cuts from point A and B/

They even just built a cool 2 mile elevated wooden bike path that goes thru a swamp but saves me 5 road miles to get to my favorite coffee shop on a motorized bike and its faster plus I see a ton of wildlife along the way. Have had a few close calls with deer, rabbits, coyotes and foxes running right in front of me, this that makes my heart dang near stop. Probably because they are so silent, the wildlife isn't spooked till your right on top of them.

Either way I would not give up one for the other unless I had too. Less grey area with an ebike on legality here. Except places like NYC where the mayor decided to go to war with ebikes and recently rounded up thousands and impounded them I believe permanently with no real warning to the operators and owners.

Just wrong in my opinion. No doubt many really needed them to get to work. I guess silent, and closer to 0 pollution compared to cars didn't too sit well with those in power. Rant over.

Your welcome Xseler, I dressed in my snowmobile outfit and did another 6 mile jaunt on the trails in the dark thru the swamp and on dirt trails using new Wicmax a60 headlamp...these lights probably are illegal and belong as landing lights on a plane it is so bright. Lit the whole trail like daytime. I recommend these 45.00 lights
available on Amazon for any true nighttime riding. Ebike Battery only went down 1 bar out of 5 now, so 21 miles and checked on my Multimeter and was still at 36 volts with 0 pedaling. They are a little over 40 volts at full charge. Range is great so far.
